Ener-G Low-Protein Rice Bread is made especially for people with phenylketonuria (pku) and other metabolic disorders who need a low protein diet. Unlike other low-protein loaves, this bread is based on rice starch and does not crumb. It is slightly sweet and best served toasted.

Ingredients: Filtered water, rice starch, tapioca starch, sugar (evaporated cane juice), polydextrose (from maize), cold pressed safflower oil, thickener (microcrystalline cellulose), yeast, gelling agents (methylcellulose, xanthan gum), thiamin (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), niacin, iron, and folic acid.
