One of our directors, Alegra Green, has a coeliac condition, which means she can no longer tolerate the protein Gluten in wheat, rye, oats and barley. She refuses to compromise on quality and taste, so our products contain only the very best ingredients. There are no artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives, and no GMO’s. All products have a very long shelf life due only to the oxygen barrier packaging. Our baked products are lower in saturates, contain calcium, folic acid and other essential vitamins and minerals to keep you healthy.
Folic acid is an essential vitamin that the body can't store and which we all need to have in our every day diet. It can also help reduce the risk of neural tube defects in unborn babies and the risk of miscarriages. Ener-G products are currently the only gluten-free’s to contain significant levels of folic acid.
